In partnership with Dar VandeVoort at Hot Shops, Autism Action Partnership is excited to announce the Adult Art Workshop: One of the Flock!

Each participant will create a painting of themselves, as, “One of the Flock”. The finished piece will be a reminder you are always, one of. We will also work on a collaborative piece which will be a larger painting of “The Flock”. Everyone will take turns working on the collaborative with Dar, repeatedly, over the four sessions. Dar will guide participants throught heir individual pieces as well.

September 12 & 19 | 3:30 - 5:30 PM

Participants should attend both sessions.

About the Artist

Dar VandeVoort

Dar VandeVoort enjoys a variety of mediums and subject matter. Her studio at the Hot Shops Art Center, #215, is an open door to what goes on in her life. “I paint what I know”, is evident in the animals and people that are portrayed in the studio. She is a member of the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery in Omaha and also represented by Saatchi Art, a world wide online gallery. Dar teaches private lessons and group workshops, including corporate team building. She also works with rehabilitation clientele at Quality Living Inc. in Omaha every week. “Helping others to create is a true blessing”.
